Minimize impact

Only use trees which are appropriate for slacklining

Use strong tapes that wont tear and litter

Consider permanent anchors a last resort

If placing permanent anchors, do it right the first time

Don’t drop rocks from cliffs (trundling is dangerous)
Know the Area

Avoid trampling crypto-biotic soil

Be aware of local wildlife

Look for and avoid disturbing seasonal bird nesting

Make sure the area is open to slacklines and/or highlines

Know what authorities to contact when rigging large highines

Follow established trails

If bolting, know local bolting ethics

Know how long a line can be left unattended
-
Have a plan for the extra trash carried out
